17. How do you protect Visa, Mastercard, etc. holders and prevent fraudulent charges?

1. In conjunction with the Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express, we verify every first-time orders, including addresses, phone numbers, and e-mail addresses. And once we establish a relationship with customers, we do not need to verify subsequent orders.

   We do have a profile on people that commit fraud which has successfully helped us identify numerous fraudulent charges.

   Also, we do NOT store credit numbers on our server.

17. I tried to switch long distance carriers, but it wouldn't work! Why?

1. Sometimes long distance carriers will perform a "PIC freeze" which prevents anyone from switching PICs (long distance carriers). You can remove the freeze though.

17. My long distance carrier was changed, but I didn't request for it to be changed. How can that happen?
